Sustainable Building Frontiers has successfully shepherded, administered, managed, and consulted on the LEED Certification process for LEED v3 BD+C New Construction (NC): CAMPUS, LEED v3 BD+C NC: Schools, LEED v4.0 BD+C NC, LEED v4.0 BD+C NC: Health Care (HC), LEED v4.1 BD+C NC: HC, LEED v3 for Homes, and Passivhaus projects through highly effective project management; incorporating the foundation required and specialist understanding of the USGBC LEED intentions, requirements, synergies, credit compliance, and sustainable design principles. Acting as a bridge between different engineering, architectural, construction experts, departments, external organizations, and Cx Agents to facilitate communication and project coordination while focusing on the alignment of goals for both domestic and international projects.
SBF is the liaison and central point of contact for LEED Certifications, ensuring that information and requirements are shared effectively between different groups, working with external partners, vendors, and clients to establish successful projects.
Sustainable Building Frontiers specializes in the LEED Certification process to ensure GBCI approved Certifications at the highest possible level. LEED Projects are managed from initial Charrette into the Pre-Design, Design and Documentation, Construction, and Certification and Closeout phases, including Split and Combined reviews, Credit Maintenance, and Post Occupancy Evaluations.
SBF has taken on the consulting for multiple projects with existing LEED Certifications that have stalled for a variety of reasons, and holds a successful track record on resuscitating projects previously in peril.
SBF also conducts Post Occupancy Evaluations using our proprietary POE that leads to the compendium of essential occupant feedback after a building’s occupancy. SBF aggregates this data and includes customized actionable interventions to correct and successfully address areas of concern.

Not every project chooses to go through the LEED Certification process, but still wants to achieve those thresholds in design, development, construction, and operational maintenance.
